Audio Mastering can be seen as such a dark art and clients often come to us in despair, having often had failed attempts elsewhere.
If you’re not careful, it’s all too easy to end up losing the dynamics of your final mix etc and just not getting the masters sounding as they should.
We believe the idea is to maintain the sound of your record, whilst giving it that final ‘polish’ and getting that extra 5 to 10% improvement on things.
We strive to keep the mix your mix engineer intended intact at all times, unless of course in our view, there is an inherent issue. In which case we will point this out and discuss it with you before proceeding.
This can be so frustrating after spending so much time and money making your record, only for out to fall at the last hurdle as it were.
At Beat Street Studio we provide the very best service for audio mastering in Leeds.
The studio has an enviable collection of the worlds finest analogue mastering outboard equipment, including Cranesong, Connor, Manley, Neve, and Thermionic to name a few. We also use our outstanding Audeze LCD-X referencing headphones to really hone in on things at the next level.
the option is also there to run your master through our glorious 1/4″ Studer machine and really get some ‘glue’ into your track.
Whether your audio mastering requirements are just a single track, or be it a full album, we are very passionate about getting it exactly as you would like it.
If you prefer to be in attendance at your audio mastering session, that’s fine my us, we will only be happy once you’re happy!
As part of our service we will naturally create a DDP (Disc Description Protocol) complete with ISRC coding ready for full release. If you need advice for duplication and artwork, let us know as we have a great team to deal with this for you too.
Once you have completed your final mixes, please feel free to contact us and arrange to come in and see us to discuss your audio mastering requirements. We generally have a pretty quick turnaround (subject to workload) and we don’t charge for revisions.
